*Food glorious food...agus ciamar a tha sibh!!*

Okay, so I went to bed at 10:30pm-ish last night because I was really tired and I was hoping to wake up at 7am and be happy that once again, I am on a normal time schedule. Alas. Puppy came into the room at 4am and starting pacing up and down the side of my bed panting. He finally went to lie down and went to sleep eventually, though. Well that had kept me awake for a while so I ended up sleeping in until 8:15 am. Grrr.
I took the fat dog for a walk and then came inside for a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea. I applied for a job online and then we tidied up and I went and finished my Book of D'ni novel on the couch for a half an hour. The ending was a bit disappointing. Booooo. Anyway, then I had a shower and got ready and we went to Yonge and Eglinton to Future Shop to buy a belt thing for our vaccum that had broken. Riveting, I know. Then we walked back to the Yonge and Eg centre, my feet starting to hurt because I wore those cursed sandels-they are too loose from the leather stretching so much (they are old) and they are a thicker and heavier sandel too. Ah well. It was a really nice day today though. This is the sort of summer day I like. Yesterday was rubbish. Except, it could have done with a few more clouds though. The sun is too hot. We stopped for lunch. I had a regular size grilled chicken pita from Pita Extreme--I should have ordered the smaller size, wow, this thing was huge. But I was okay after it haha. And Rob had chicken teriaki (yes my spelling sucks and I am too lazy to fix it). Onward to North York and we went to Loblaws. Nothing really exciting...getting groceries and all. Annoyed at carrying it all back. I was thinking of getting some of the stuff for the picnic on Monday, but I thought better of it. I'll get it on Sunday or something. Came home tired. I don't know why, but grocery shopping just makes me tired!! We put our stuff away and I took the dog for a quick walk because it was a bit too hot outside for him--with the sun. I had a peanut buttered toasted bagel with grapes and an apple and a cup of tea for my supper. Can't remember what I did after that. Then I went to the gym for a short bit of exercise with Rob, upstairs. Had a shower, pajamas, pot of tea, snack--studying. Basically, that is all I am doing tonight. Except I have a new novel to read and I am a little hesitant to start it right now because the other one just consumed me. I might start it tomorrow afternoon instead. But I have another book, an introduction to screen writing book (these are my library books, btw) and I might flip through it. I'm seriously thinking about trying my hand at writing something. I complain about how absolutely terrible most of the movies are that come out, so why not do something about it haha. Especially the historical ones. *shudders*. Although curses for being in Assyriology. I might need to bug a certain HWMNBN for some Egyptology help. Maybe set it in the Amarna age...hmm.
Speaking of HWMNBN--at a Toronto convention all this weekend-boooooo.
Right well, I guess I should get back to studying...
You know, there are so many things I really want to do but I just don't have time for them. And when I do have time for it, I'm paralyzed with fear about not having time for it or not being able to make progress in it. Take my interest in say, Scottish Gaelic-which I was trying to learn. Well, I sit down with the books and go through the lesson and then I freak out because I'm not going to learn the language in one sitting. I have to spent countless months studying it every day. And then I never keep to the schedule because I get busy, lazy, etc-and then it's a month later and I haven't looked at it since even though I always mean to!! And so I forever go nowhere with the things I want to learn!!! And plus I get distracted!
I must end this evil cycle.
Well, here I am again, distracting myself more from studying.
