*tired and sore*

Well that was an interesting day. I got up at 8 in the morning and took the dog for a walk. Yayy I saw Monty and his owner-we haven't seen them in ages. He told me that actually the off-leash dog area is Henlen's Point on the island? Now I'm just confused. Had peanut butter toast and tea for breakfast and tidied up and had a shower. Read my novel a bit and actually started writing my own. I just have so many ideas in my head and I don't know what to do with them. It's chaos I tell you. Had an oatmeal bar and a tea for a snack...had an apple and grapes and a chedder herb bagel with turkey for lunch...err..
Took the dog outside...got my soccer gear together and went out to Glendon College with Rob to meet our friend Dan to practice soccer. Well that didn't happen. We decided to just get supper and walk to the field -or should I say, I wanted to take the bus but Dan wanted to walk arhghghhg hahaha. So with a supper at Subway in between, we walked from Lawrence and Bayview all the way to Sunnybrook park at Eglinton and Leslie! And to make matters worse, the walk in Sunnybrook park to the sports fields took FOREVER! That park is WAY too big!! Honestly, it took us about 40 minutes to walk there! I thought we were going to be trapped in there wandering forever! Okay I exaggerate but I was so tired by the time we got there. And we just got there 10 minutes before the game. So much for practicing.

The game went well considering who we were playing. A team that had been playing together for years. They even had shirts...we were missing half of our players and we are a rag tag team of some experienced and inexperienced players. We lost 4-2 or something like that...maybe 4-1, I can't remember. We played them before, our first game, and lost 11-3. So I think we've really come together as a team. My goalie skills are certainly a lot better. I made some good saves. But I let some in that I KNOW I could have stopped with more practice. I want to be unstoppable because I'm not afraid of the ball and wrecking breakaways and getting in their way. I just hesitate or am too slow in reaction for some of the kicks. I made a good mid-air save though-but with my one hand (bad mistake) ohh my god, my wrist is so sore..AGAIN! I did this last game too!! Same wrist too! poor wrist.

Anyway, luckily one of our team mates drove us to the Subway station (wahoo!!! If we would have walked, we wouldn't have been home till probably 11:30pm ugh!) and we got home at about 9:30pm. I took the dog outside and here I am, in my pajamas with a cup of tea and peanut buttered toasted cinnamon bagel. Can you tell I like peanut butter? :p
I have blisters all over my feet, my arches hurt ( I don't know why! I think it's dancing related problem), and in general, I'm ready to call it a day.
