Wow 2:23am...I'm tired...
Today was rather go..go..go..
I jumped to the start of the phone at 9am. It was Rob!! Arriving at Union Station off the via train. I threw on some clothes and rushed down to meet him and open the door for him. It was so good to see him again. Puppy apparently agreed because he wouldn't even LEAVE him alone for ages! He could barely get passed the front door area without him jumping all over and licking and wagging his tail and blocking his path. I haven't seen him that excited before. He is puppy's favourite, though!
So here we have it. I had some plans for today. Rob wanted to rent a few games for our new gamecube, which was completely new to him since he had just returned. I had to return that horridly late mario party game. I rushed through a shower and threw on some clothes...while having the dilemna of what to wear since I was also meeting my friend for lunch afterwards and I was going to go there straight on from shopping with Rob. After going through a few clothes, I returned to my original outfit...as usual. And I had a quick breakfast of cereal. We took the dog outside for a walk and came back in and then set off.
The late charges weren't too bad. And we rented Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and Sonic Heros (yes, my choice). We walked down Queen Street to the gaming store and I bought the entry pack to D&D and Rob looked at some wicked silver rings from a vendor accross the street. Overpriced, though. We chatted the entire time. Argh so good to have him back, I can't say it enough. Feel like the other piece of my mind is back! woo!
Anyway, I actually had more time to shop but I figured I'd better not play the time-game and took off the streetcar to College St. to meet my friend while Rob went the other direction back home. I waited for a while on the steps of U of T Bookstore where we were meeting..no sign of her..I called HWMNBN and chatted a bit. Felt stupid really because I shoulda just bought my entry pack from him since he sells that stuff too!! But ah well. What can ya do. Chatted a bit more....no sign of her...hung up and waited more..maybe she said 12 instead of 11:30...I do have a rubbish memory. But by 12:10, no sign of her...I thought that was really weird. I called Rob to see if she had left a message but the only message was from my..eek...dance teacher!! oh no!! apparently I had a lesson today and I missed it!! ...how ironic...karma.
I walked up St. George street to the subway. My next destination for the day was to HWMNBN's place--which was going to be later but since of circumstances, would be earlier now! Ah well!
I grabbed a peanut buttered bagel and orange juice from Bagel To Go at Yonge and Eg and then walked to his place. We ripped open my entry pak game set and he taught me how to play the mini's game. I am not a quick learner really, and I have a horrible attention span. But I picked up on it and managed!!! It was fun! And then we watched the first Spiderman movie since I had never seen it. Went to the bank with him and he walked..er...rollerbladed (me walked) to the subway and I went back home and he went to his gaming thing. Right...I'm getting tired now...but I managed to try and work out which failed and I ended up just cleaning my place up and having a quick shower. We decided that tonight we were going to do nothing but video games, games, and movie. And so pizza was thus called for. We decided on Gigi's, since we had never had it before. It was really quite good!!! And so the night went as I described and now I am so tired. Oh yah I took the dog outside somewhre in there. And yah...we talked the entire night too. Mostly about how life has turned out and where we're headed and our dilemna's of the hour. I can't believe I have been living here by myself for 3 weeks. it felt like forever. You don't know how much you appreciate someone until they are gone, eh?
All in all, an excellent day
