On Monday, I went for training/orientation at work. It was pretty good considering I've been through it before and I was getting paid to do it again...heh heh. Saw lots of the people I used to work with and they all grinned at my return. I'm not sure how many other people have come back (rush people) but the one girl did who was with our group. We had lunch together on our break. We ran out of time at the end because the explaination of the cash registar and all the forms of payment and all the craziness that goes with it, took too long. I was rather relieved because I'm nervous to be a cashier at the bookstore. I have been in weborders for too long. (I have to do some cash work for a while until weborders starts getting busy-then I go there) Last year I got maybe 2 hours total on that cash registar. Everyone else has way more experience. I'm bloody nervous only because I don't want to make mistakes ahhh. I know that it is expected since I am training. But I hate customers sometimes. :( I also worry too much.
So it's 7:30am now...I have to leave by 8:15am to get there on time. Ughh. The first time in ......I can't even remember WHEN the last time I got up at 6:45am was! But I start work at 8:45am...next year I have classes at 8:45am so it's good practice I guess. Having a cup of tea and a bowl of cereal (Honey bunches of oats Mmm...) and I still have to take the dog out. Neron was sleeping on hte end of my bed this morning and when I got up, he looked at me in shock....and refused to get up. Fine with me!
I can't wait to come home after work today. I'm so glad I have a job but I just don't want to go! :p
I got a whack of books at the library, too. Some Forgotten Realms book by Salvatore, Prelude to Foundations by Asimov, and some...book..I forget..by Sawyer....and Olive Hurley's Irish dancing vol I and II hahahah I couldn't believe they had them!! They were cute but the steps..I dunno...I think they were designed for non-real dancers because some of the moves I just can't see EVER doing-like this weird feet stamp thing in the hornpipe..umm...yeah...maybe it's just because we never had lame steps like that...I dunno...and the fact we never stamp our feet like that!! But ah well, she is a world championship teacher and dancer! I recognised some dancers that won the world championships too, in it! whacky.
Anyway, yesterday I wasn't feeling too well. I slept the morning. All of my blankets and stuff had been washed and so I couldn't resist the comfortableness of it. I read/studied (feeeck I'm so screwed for this exam, must focus, must focus!!) and worked out a bit..walked the dog..went to get some forms signed at Innis and we went to yonge and eglinton for supper, the indigo (where rob bought 2 books) and I was enticed by the language section, and walked around the neighbourhood we are interested in, ended up at tim hortons, stopped at the dominion before we got on the subway home. (I needed some groceries). I went to bed early last night, 10:30pm, and it is the only reason I was able to get up this morning.
I don't know how you people do it. Getting up early and work..it's just been too long. It should be illegal. :p
Oh shoot! BIOME soccer!...and I'm working..hm!....I forgot...err...I will have to reorganize it. booo!
Oh well anyway, can't think of much else to say. I'm going to sit on the couch and savour 5 minutes of freedom before I walk the dog and then take off to work.
