Another long day.

I got up at 6:30am and got ready, took the dog for a walk....actually he just played with a beagle named Monty in the dog park area for a while. Then me and Rob left for campus. I realized on the way there that I forgot something..arhghghg..why can I not stop forgetting things!! I forgot a textbook that I was going to sell today. Blasted. We had breakfast-I had scrambled eggs, a slice of french toast...too much eggs, I didn't finish it...-apple, ham, small bowl of muesli, orange juice, tea....went all the way back home to get the textbook and came back. I met Rob at Robarts library and did some work for an hour and then went downstairs to meet the girl to sell my textbook. I sat on the stairs where I believed we would be meeting. Minutes slipped by..nobody...I had a bad feeling I misread the email about where we were to meet....but I didn't have time to walk around because I had class. I walked as fast as I could over to Bancroft and found my class. It was one of the rooms with the long tables extending down each end of the room into a square...with those standard chair-desks lining the back. The tables were already filled, darn. So I took one of those desks in the far corner. A girl from my Prehistory class sat in front of me...She has been in my class a bunch of times before. The class seems like it is going to be a lot of work but I am really excited for it (Middle Egyptian language). Ancient languages RULE. Of course I have to buy the books for it wahhhhh!! I need more money!!

After class I talked to one of the girls that was in my hebrew class last year and asked her if she was taking Intermediate Biblical Hebrew too. She didn't even know it was being offered this year for some reason!! She raced off to find out if she could get into it. LOL. On my way down the hall I glanced into the undergrad lounge at the sound of voices and I saw someone I recognised as supposed to have gone to Oxford for her masters and thought I'd never see them again!!! I backed up and went inside. "Aren't you supposed to be in Oxford, or something!!" I laughed. I guess they don't start until October. Quite a few people I knew where there and I chatted a bit. Then went to meet Rob for lunch at the dining hall. Some pork and potatoes thing. Went back to Bancroft because I decided to see if I could audit Mason's polarized light microscropy class which was moved to Friday and I now had room for (except for the lab..but luckily the time is not official for that yet) and I was a bit early so I stopped by the lounge again and everyone was still there, plus someone else from last year!! She is going to Liverpool for her grad studies. I was so happy to see everyone again!!!
Went upstairs to find the class and ran into Erin, a friend from my classes last year and who is also in my prehistory class (yayy that's what's great about NMC, I have classes with the same people) and we went to class-which was the main lab for Bancroft Hall, chatting. Turns out Dr. Mason isn't back yet from the field (Syria) so his grad students talked to us. It looks like a pretty intense course. Basically a geology course but instead of identifying and analyzing rocks and stuff, we use artifacts. Very hands on. I am giving myself the extra work because I really wanted to take the course and get more archaeological experience since I can't afford to go into the field.
Class over, and rather tired, I went home.

Walked the dog, slept for 30 mins...got ready, went to dinner with Rob. Chicken, vegetables, and rice....the problem with the meal plan is that it is too easy to eat too much meat...I'm going to go vegetarian for tomorrow and watch how much I eat next time...anyway, some pecan square thing and tea..fruit...we walked up to the subway and went to the mall looking for some things. We ended up at Old Navy and I spent money I don't have. :( But I needed a few things a lot and they were on sale and I couldn't pass it up bahhh. A navy windbreaker for 20 bucks (yayyy bring on the rain!), a pair of nice khakis for 17 bucks, and a blue short sleeve collared dress shirt for 10 bucks. I need my pants hemmed though really badly. I'm so short...where do I get that done?....I don't know how to do it.
Rob found a pair of flip flops (for the AC) and a pair of workout pants. Went home. The end.

Toast and tea and I'm tired. Gotta take the dog for a quick walk....I should work out...arhghg....why am I soo tiiirreddd....
I work 10-5pm tomorrow and I am NOT looking forward to it. Then 12-5pm on Sunday. boo.....booooooooooooooooo.
