Soo tired and sore haha.
Thanks to the many many many first year life sci kids, I went home from work with sore neck and shoulder muscles (more so than usual...) because their books are so bloody big and in such great numbers! Scanning, demagnifying, stacking, and bagging and lifting those suckers was quite the work out. I am usually freezing at work because of the air conditioning at full blast, but today I definetely wasn't! I even had to roll up me sleeves a good many times! Yes so that waas my day, work from 10-5pm...more like 5:30pm because people decided to buy their books AT 5:00pm and we can't close the store completely until there are no more line ups. ughh. Anyway- today this guy that I rather (no, i really) fancied came to buy something...I think he bought a U of T tshirt or something like that-he went to the cashier beside me. Then he started talking. And he was from Ireland. I had to turn around and busy myself with something at that point because apparently I had decided to start grinning like an idiot and I couldn't stop. Honestly. I talked to Rob later and he had a situation almost just like that earlier today too. He was in the bank and he saw this girl he really liked. He didn't expect her to actually talk to him and she asked him for the time. He stared at his watch blankly for the longest time before he stuttered a respone. hahaha. It's so funny. Why do we get so strange in those instances. At any rate, the bookstore was BUSY today. I was so tired by the end of the day. I am scared to see what it is going to be like next week! And the rush schedule was up and I am still on the cashiers schedule....weborders has their own seperate schedule...sooo...I'm guessing that I can forget about weborders? why did they even tell me I was going back there if they just were going to keep me on the hell of cash? damn them.
Anyway, Salanth, sorry I missed your birthday today!! I didn't realize that you sent me the invitation because I never check that email you sent it to! haha but I also had to work and had some stuff to do at home afterwards so I guess I wasn't available boooo. Anyway, HAPPY BESTEST BIRTHDAY!!
I grabbed a few things from Rabba on front street on the way home for 10 bucks. Alpen cereal (the no sugar one), bananas, apples, grapes, kaiser buns, chicken deli meat..that sorta thing.
Got up to chapter 5 today in my new biblical hebrew text book. That text is really well laid out, I have to say.
Anyway, here is a nice quotation that I like because it reminded me of something.
"The best way to have friends, is to start being one"
I'm so tired. My foot lasted the day but it is a little sore now after my shift. I'll live. :)
Goodnight!
