Right now I'm working on another Middle Egyptian translation assignment-due tomorrow. It's not going well. Can you have a sdm.n.f verb form but without the f part? It would *seem* so in this sentence, but it doesn't make sense.
Ah well.
Monday was the usual trauma of Middle Egyptian class at 11am and Hebrew at 1pm-although I got to campus at 8:30am and feverishly worked on some hebrew translations in the Earth Sci lounge. At least I did better on writing this vocab quiz. I forgot only 2 words.
Mesopotamian mythology was long and tiring as usual. I worked on gaelic grammar during the lecture.
When I got home I just cleaned my place from head to toe again. It was nice and organized again. Took the dog for a few walks yesterday. I read some of my excavation manual book with a cup of tea and went to bed.
Today (okay I ALWAYS walk the dog in the morning, I don't need to say that) managed to get to campus again by 8:30am, had breakfast, and went to work on my Middle Egyptian assignment in the Earth Sci lounge from 9-10. Although, I mostly chatted with one of my archaeology friends. She is really funny to me. She is very concerned with style and such things, which baffles my mind. Aren't we (archaeologists) not supposed to have style :p hahaha.
Went aaaall the way to Cabbagetown for my highland dance lesson -some improvements but again, a list of things I need to work on. Oye. Went back to campus, had a relaxed lunch of a whole wheat turkey sandwich with veg and tea. I then went to Bancroft to put in a few hours of work at the lab. I was now working on some computer stuff, sifting and organizing photograph and drawing records. boo. I went to do some research at the Earth Sci library on the computer--I love the Anthropology Plus index. It is glorious. I have a lot of research now. I plan to go through it at the library tomorrow. I walked to the dining hall for a dinner of turkey, mash, and veg and went home. Worked out and showered. Middle Egyptian. Walked dog. Now...I'm procrastinating with my assignment. Okay, I gotta go, I have my cup of tea and a snack and I need to smooth over these translations and work on parsing the verbs.
I have a love-hate relationship with languages.
