*I hate moving*
I'm so glad it's over. It was a long long long day and I was starving by the time I got home. I had barely eaten anything all day because we were so busy and the grilled chicken pita I had at my sister's (stop halfway from Toronto to home-Waterloo), didn't seem to do the job. Rob came with his parents a few hours into the moving that me and my dad were working on with the rented cargo van. Yes...that was fun...2 hours alone with my dad .. moving...I think he ran out of things to yell at me for halfway and started coming up with the most ridiculous things to yell about--yes...I REALLY throw pennies at the walls and that's why there were pennies all over the floor. hahaha.
Anyway, it gone done.
Today, I woke up at 8am after having gone to bed at 2am. Neron was on my bed and he wanted to go outside. I let both dogs outside in my-ahhh-pajamas. SO nice not to have to deal with elevators and people. I decided to just start the day and not go to bed. I had breakfast and then I took the dogs for a walk around the park that connects with the backyard. Neron seems to be adapting really well. Sometimes they playfight in the house and that's about all the trouble that arises. But it's because one of them will sorta "poke" the other, and then the other responds with a "you wanna go??"-and they go at it. Oye.
I did some highland dancing practice and showered up and wore my NEW clothes! That's right. The day before I was supposed to move, I skipped out on packing and went to Eaton Centre to buy some new clothes. i was so sick of not having a pair of pants that fit me properly. I wandered through the mall until Jacob caught my eye. I went in and in a flash I was trying on tons of stuff and came out with 2 long sleeve thin shirts-one green and one beige-both with light designs, and a dark green-brown vest (you know those wintery material ones with the fleece lining--soo nice i caved in..everyone has them..what shame--but it looks sooo nice on my long sleeve shirts!), and dark brown low cut cords and a darker coloured pair of jeans and they are nice and loose fitting at the waist but not too loose everywhere else. Just perfect. I dislike tight pants. I want to breath god dammit. I took them to Sears to be hemmed and didn't think twice about it. I do not want more rolled up pants. Oh, and a beige-ish thick button up cardigan sweater. It's soo nice.
Anyway, I spent the rest of the day doing laundry on my clothes and putting them away in my empty closet, and lugging boxes of my books up a couple flight of stairs to my room from the basement. Now my bedroom floor is absolutely covered in books...I just need my bookshelf from Rob now (they took it in the pickup).
My mom decided to make a light supper which I was glad for--I CRINGE every time she suggests pizza or something. It makes me mad! They KNOW I don't eat junk food and I eat really healthy...even when they offer it, I don't understand why she gets mad when I don't want it!! I mean..come on!! How many years have I been eating healthy?? lol. Anyway, We had from Sunripe (this really nice produce/veg/meals market-store thing that exists no where else but here haha it's so popular) 2 jars of homemade fat free lentil stew with crusty bread--except I had health bread with smoked turkey on it and carrots and she made a salad with the dark greens and carrots and red peppers and cut up peaches. She wanted to make some rasperry vingrette but I declined and had some italian on mine..I am very plain and I don't like a lot of things!! She made hers with it though.
I lugged more boxes to my room.
I made the mistake of asking my mom if she's seen Ocean's 11 -which she said no-and that it was on the tv tonight. Because then she asked me to watch it with her in the family room. Doh! Oh well. Made some tea and had a snack and watched it. I never saw the last half. Pretty good movie! I likes! Kinda want to see the 2nd half.
Dogs are passed out on the floor downstairs. I'm going to go to bed I guess. I'm getting hungry so I might as well go to bed and get up early for breakfast.
Anyway-so not too much excitingness here. Organization is a pain.
I think me and Rob will go out tomorrow-after he comes here to organize and trade our things! He's got some of my stuff and I his! But I can assure everyone that it will end with a visit to Tim Hortons for food!
Omg I have a public library book that's like a month overdue! I just found it in my stack of books!! :-o
