Wednesday was a very good trip down to MacMaster. VERY good!! And you know what? I really like the university, actually. And I didn't see what was so bad about Hamilton at all. Especially the university area. I am definetely applying for my Masters there and i'm really reconsidering doing my last year on exchange there...seeing as my plan to finish distance is rather falling apart due to lack of course options. Doh! Ah well, better finish that application for it then!

Today is pretty boring for you to hear about.
I went to bed early last night and still managed to wake up an hour late. I was down for breakfast by quarter to 9am and wolfed some good old Vector and tea down and braved the heavy snow to class.

9am-10:30am was my Ceramic Petrology lab...it was finished at 10:30 rather than 11:30 because my prof was generous today and gave us an easy lab. I need to work harder in this class. It's stressing me out. There are only 8 of us and he is really nice, lenient and funny (i still haven't handed in 4 labs yet...but i WILL)...

I came back to my rez, in the icy hail that now transpired. It hurt my face. I did not enjoy the 20 minute trek across campus in that. My new cds came in the mail, wahoo! The Libera company music that I posted below. I ripped those into my ipod and checked mail and stuff. Lunch at 11:30 and I was off to the ROM for a 12-1pm Ceramic Petrology lecture. Got my midterm test back...oye...50%....that didn't make me feel too good...actually I had no feelings at all. haha. Luckily it was only worth 10%. I am working harder this term, I will not do this again! And this course IS very difficult, I won't lie.

I went back to rez and kept checking stupid ROSI for my geology course. Still full. I filled my travel mug with tea and went on to my next class. 2-4pm Near Eastern Prehistoric Archaeology. Finally, some good news. I got my research paper back and was delighted to see a nice big fat "A" written at the end with nothing but praise. You see, I wrote this paper on lithic analysis methodology and it was a scary choice because my professor's speciality WAS lithic analysis. A dangerous thing to do is to write a paper in the field of specialty of your prof. For obvious reasons. And still, I did wickedly! I really wanted to ask him for a place in his lithic analysis class this term despite that it is full...but I actually really enjoy the other half credit I picked up, "Stars and galaxies"-basically an intro to astronomy. I always wanted to take astronomy...so I'll just take my "A" and run and be very happy about it. It has to be the best paper I've ever written. 20 pages of delight.

Becoming slightly more weary, I made my way to the evil Con Hall for my next class and made good timing considering they are back-to-back. My astronomy course was 4-5pm. I really enjoyed it. Astro-physics is a secret desire for me. Go on, laugh then! but you know, i REALLY had thought that I had seen the LAST of Con Hall as of last year! I was not happy to be back there. For those that don't know what Con Hall is, it's the big huge round building in the centre of our campus that hosts around 1500 students for classes and other things..ugh. And oh yes, we do have classes that big. I would have reckoned there were only maybe 700 kids in that class though.

Afterwards, I trudged across that front field in the circle and made my way back to the rez for dinner. I came in, dropped my stuff at the table where I recognised some of the girls from my floor, and ate my spagetti, roasted peppers, and garlic bread quickly, once again...some water to boot and I ran up to my room to get some stuff and I was back outside again, making my way to geology. I REALLY liked this class. I was even happier to come home and after my tea and snack, find that someone had indeed dropped it and picked up the spot, completing my courseload.

So, I meant to do homework, right? type up my notes, do some hebrew translations, do some of that work for that prof?? I'm so tired, I wasted an hour on my computer and honestly, I'm goign to go lie on my bed with some tunes and if I'm not tired enough to fall asleep...I'll do some work..and if I am..well? goodnight....except it's "loud hour" right now. I DESPISE loud hour. I can't go to bed until 11pm.
Hey I walked for 1.5 hours today with coming back and forth between class! woaaa...

Right then, cheerio!
