Because I am posting only a few days after the last post, I'll have less to say...less rant....my day is probably going to bore you...
I woke up at 8:30 and as I do every single morning, took the dogs for a walk around the park before breakfast. It's about a 15-20 minute walk. Today was NICE! It was cloudy and cool outside! so I wore my light spring rain jacket. After breakfast, I did some accounting work while watching a movie: Hidalgo. I don't know what people were bitching about, it was a decent film. It's funny but reviewers tend to give fair ratings to absolute rubbish and poor ratings to films of better standard. I now firmly believe that most movie-goers are half-breed intellectually-inhibited savages who need pointless explosions to offset the confusion of character development done by dialogue. Anyway...then I worked out...running/power walking for 45 minutes...then after a quick lunch I ventured out into town with my friend to see a movie at the cinema...We went to see Fantastic Four...*cough*...it was alright. Fun and cute, nothing more. BUT THAT WAS HORATIO HORNBLOWER! the guy that played Reed, or such. Oh god why did he hide his accent. And then we watched Anchor Man at my house after supper. I thought it amusing. A day of movies, apparently!
erm.............Anyway..........I decided something. My novel...the ending...it's driving me nuts. The character has to make a heavy decision in the end and I thought that the answer would help me sort out the rest of the story--then I could continue writing it. But no! The decision is so drastic that it's kept me from writing for days, but then I thought, if this decision is so drastic and I don't expect my character to just know the answer, why would I? So I'm going to sit on it for longer and not worry about it. I will contemplate it. I'm not in a race to finish this book.
Granted I haven't even started writing past chapter 1 yet (I restarted the manuscript).
Alas.
