I'm soooo tired. Physically, tired.... I got back at around midnight from my brief trip up to Toronto for a Glasgow Rangers soccer game (against Zagreb "booooo"). We walked around everywhere for those 2 days...sometimes just getting to our destination intermitted with catching the TTC, or wandering around aimlessly in the search for food at midnight. It was hot. And the rez had no air conditioning (note to self, bring a fan in Sept.). Aside from my feet blistering terribly-to the point where I had to stop at Shoppers for bandaids--and how hot it was (we never felt cooled off ahhh), it was a great time. The game was AMAZING! It was my first pro soccer game and I was so happy...except for the croatian fans a few rows in front of us and to the left, they were incredible jerks. Rude. Rude. Rude. Blocking people's view and being arrogant about it, too. The Scotch fans were WAY better! And we bought Glasgow fan tshirts (and put them on, of course) and I bought a flag. The boys bought beer. haha. I loved the temperature in the Skydome, though, that was awesome. It wasn't hot and it wasn't cold, I felt perfectly fine. I spent too much money without even realizing it...and it wasn't like I was shopping! But food and ttc and etc sort of pile up. Plus I really wanted some fan gear to take home seeing as we forgot our cameras (soo disappointing). I bought a book at Chapters, too. We ate breakfast at New York Deli on Charles and Bay (it was good) and Jalapeno for summerlicious, on King st, and it was amazing.
Rob had an appointment at Sutherland Modeling Agency and wow!! They took an hour with him! They really wanted him! So he is going to do it, I think!! She thinks that he'll make it with commercials and stuff like that! Maybe even the runway! wooaaa. So he's coming back to U of T (99% likely) and living at St. Mikes rez and stuff. I'm glad he is coming back on all of these good terms (especially with all the stuff U of T is giving him) and it will be nice to be able to hang out again. Toronto just wasn't the same without him....
I hate Toronto in the summer, too too hot. I'm glad I'm not living there right now! But I am looking forward to going back to my rez for the new school year. I am finally feeling that excitement...it is probably correlated with my loathing for the chip truck. I want to quit but I can't; I need the money. Wahhh I hate it I hate it I hate it, the heat and the people and ugh. Only 6 more weeks.
And I GOTTA get saving for school but I'm still trying to pay stuff off slowly. I think I'll start putting half and half starting with the next paycheque.

In other news...ermm...soccer is going well...my writing is going okay. I'm putting aside my sci fi for now because it's too big...there is too much I am uncertain about...I need to let it brew for a while... so I decided to work on a few other projects, namely a parody and another young reader novel (that IS going well, the flow is excellent with it) and I haven't touched my screenplays yet but frakk if I have time just now. Oh and my dad's accounting, omg, I am going to be in serious sh!t if I don't get the ball moving on that--I took today off just because I'm so tired and I work tomorrow, Sat and Sun, so I'm thinking I'll do an hour each night and then on my days off, 4 hours.
it's going to suck big time.

Blah....blah!!!!! Why can't summer just be summer anymore.
