I absolutely hate poetry. So I guess it's really ironic that I wrote this. But sometimes you just need to phase out and speak in abstracty ways that mirror your abstracy feelings and move on....anyway....[i have now edited this poem...by deleting most of it! wow what rubbish one writes in such moods!]
I saw through that dark place and into a warm shadow
And for the first time, I had eyes on a light I believed in
There was no fear or lonliness in stumbling down into those unknown moonless thickets
Until I looked to the warm shadow to realize it and the light had gone, like a foggy dream fading down
And for the first time, I was so far from home, and unsure how I had gotten there
I saw through that dark place and into a warm shadow
And for the first time, I had eyes on a light I believed in
There was no fear or lonliness in stumbling down into those unknown moonless thickets
Until I looked to the warm shadow to realize it and the light had gone, like a foggy dream fading down
And for the first time, I was so far from home, and unsure how I had gotten there
